Prof. Dr. Daniel Hall gave several guest lectures during a recent trip to the United States
On January 28, Prof. Dr. Daniel Hall presented ongoing research at the chair to the Innovation in Integrated Informatics Lab at the University of Southern California Viterbi School of Engineering. On February 11, he was a guest lecturer for the course “Managing Construction and Engineering Projects and Organizations” held at the Construction Engineering Management program of University of Colorado Boulder held additional conversations with the Global Projects and Organizations Research Group.
On February 19, he gave an invited presentation on industrialized construction to the non-profit Center for Innovation in the Design and Construction Industry. Finally, Prof. Hall was one of the organizers of the 2019 Industrialized Construction Forum at Stanford University, where he gave the introductory remarks. IC researcher Konrad Graser also participated in the industrialized construction forum and spoke about his experiences as project manager for the dfab house.
Overall, it was a great trip to spread news of the research ongoing at the chair of innovative and industrial construction with interested academic and industry partners in the United States.
