The Chair of Innovative and Industrial Construction seeks to enhance the construction and management of the built environment through innovation and industrialization. In order to foster more innovation in products and processes, construction must adopt new technologies in tandem with new socio-technical processes and organizational models. In an era of industry 4.0, this includes a transformation away from fragmented work processes to new systems (of systems) that integrate the vertically-, horizontally- and longitudinally-fragmented construction supply chain.
