IC researchers win two Thesis-in-3 awards at the 2021 EC3 Conference

As part of the 2021 European Council on Computing in Construction (EC3), IC researchers Hongyang Wang and Alexander Walzer won the first and second prize at the Thesis-in-3 awards.

The annual conference, currently held in a virtual format, puts a focus on computation in AEC and features a session of short (3 minutes) thesis presentations. Here, amongst others, IC researchers presented on the topic of a self-owning house on the blockchain (no1s1, Hongyang) and entrepreneurship for digital fabrication and construction robotics (Alexander). Furthermore, the paper presentation session strongly featured several colleagues from the IC group at ETH.
