Konrad Graser presented DFAB HOUSE at the ETH WEF Pavilion in Davos

IC PhD student Konrad Graser presented his recent work at the NCCR Digital Fabrication as part of the RETHINKING DESIGN exhibition at the ETH Pavilion at the World Economic Forum 2019 in Davos.

The theme of this year’s exhibition explored how “design” becomes an essential element of the scientific process. A VR simulation of robotic fabrication for DFAB HOUSE was on display alongside other ETH research ranging from robotics to lightweight structures to the design of molecules. DFAB HOUSE is a research demonstrator of digital fabrication in construction initiated by the NCCR Digital Fabrication and ETH Zurich located at Empa’s NEST research platform in Dübendorf.
